Yes, it’s a 255w. It was placed at an angle on the left side(passenger) so that the device is facing the driver seated on the right.
The video image also shortened slightly making the device looked somewhat squarish.
About a month ago the 255w went on sale at Crutchfield and Best Buy for $150. Amazon then lowered their price for $150. This only lasted for a week. Nowadays you can get the 255w for around $170 new or $130 refurbished.
Same thing I was gonna say, I just bought mine 2 hours ago for $219.99US On sale! Now the smaller one is about around that price maybe your confusing yourself with that one.

This is not the 255W. This is the 255. The W model is for the widescreen version.

its the 255 not the 255w. the “w” stands for “widescreen”. its still a really nice gps!
